I was commissioned by The Photographers's Gallery to take part in their project of 204 large-scale portraits of Londoners, one from each nation taking part in the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The project was also showing in the Photographers's Gallery on Ramillies Street in London. I was paired with a citizen of Dominican Republic and we took the portraits in two locations in London - an iconic V&A Museum (as my subject’s interests were art, sculpture and crafts) and a contemporary artist studio (very kindly landed by my friend in London) with a view of the city’s skyline.
