Lethe at Pictura Gallery, Bloomington IN, USA until May 29th 2021
A couple of weeks ago the prints for my second show in the US left our studio on their transatlantic adventure. A selection of works from ‘Lethe’ will be at Pictura Gallery in Bloomington IN for the opening in April. A massive thanks to the gallery curators Mia and Lisa for all their work because making any sort of plans in a pandemic involved a whole lot of very careful consideration. We were planning this show to open a year ago and I’m grateful that we are finally able to do it in 2021! I’m very happy to be joining the forces with Galina Kurlat and show this body of work along hers in US!
Here is a bit more about the show:
Anatomy of Loss brings together two photographers, Galina Kurlat and Sylwia Kowalczyk, who work with non-traditional portraiture. Both photographers manipulate the surfaces of their prints to explore the experience of degradation and loss over time. Opening reception is April 2nd, 2021 and the exhibition will be open and available to the public until May 29th.
